Welcome to the Environmental Education Resource Center
Welcome to the Environmental education resource area. We have put this area together to provide resources for Montessori teachers and schools that have added environmental education into their curriculum.
This area of learning is becoming increasingly important as we learn more and more about the effect that humans and human activities are having on the planet. Just a Montessori said if we are ever going ot have peace in the world we must teach peace to the children. The same holds true for the environment. If we are going to have a clean environment in the future we have to start teaching the children today how to accomplish that.
This section of MontessoriConnections will provide resources and information to help teachers in bringing environmental education in the classroom and into the lives of their students.
